I earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Arizona State University in 2019 and am Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Arizona University in 2011, and a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from University of Arizona in 2000. I specialize in treatment of ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, OTSD, and bipolar disorder.

I have almost 20 years experience in the behavioral health field in roles ranging from case management to nursing in both involuntary and voluntary inpatient behavioral health units to my current role as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I have practiced both in person and via telehealth with patients ranging in age from adolescence to elderly.

I am currently accepting new patients ages 12 and up. I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your own unique mental health journey.

Brittney Cabral, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Treats ages 16 - 74

I originally graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2014. I then went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. From there, I continued to graduate school where I completed a Masters degree through Walden University, ultimately becoming a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

I have been working in healthcare since 2011, and worked as a travel nurse, which allowed me to gain experience in a vast array of specialties, in addition to mental health. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I have predominantly worked with patients ranging from 18 years old to elderly, and I am currently accepting new patients.  I specialize in ADHD, OCD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

When I’m not working, you can find me gardening, practicing yoga, horseback riding, and doing wildlife photography.

Brett Curran, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Treats ages 4 - 74

I have been practicing as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) since graduating from the University of Southern Maine in 2010.  I completed my doctoral education in 2021 culminating in a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.  I have also obtained Master’s and Bachelor’s level degrees in psychology/forensic psychology and have worked previously as a counselor.  As a PMHNP, I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, virtual telemedicine, corrections, IOP, ACT, long term care, and administration.  I have had the pleasure to work with patients across the lifespan, from young children to the elderly.  Over many years of practice, I have specialized in the treatment of ADHD, other childhood related psychiatric disorders, depression, anxiety, panic disorders, OCD, PTSD, bipolar, eating disorders, sleep related disorders, dementia, schizophrenia and other related psychosis disorders.

I have also enjoyed working at the University of Arizona as a Clinical Supervising Faculty for several years.  As an educator, I hope to help students become a highly accomplished psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner that is confident in their abilities to help others.

When not working I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and pets, all of which keeps me pretty busy.

I am currently accepting new patients ages 4 through the lifespan.  I look forward to working with you on your own unique mental health journey.

Brad Stoddard - CEO

Brad Stoddard is the founder of Sunrise Mental Health. After calling around Tucson for several days looking for a mental health provider he became frustrated with the options. Long wait times and nobody would call him back. He started Sunrise Mental Health with the goal of being different. He states "most places call you back in 48 hours and our goal it to call you back in 4 - 8 minutes".  Brad is passionate about mental health. People close to him suffer from depression and anxiety and Brad has been diagnosed with ADHD. This has fueled his drive to reach out to people who have these challenges and bring hope back to their lives. He has said, "I love hearing how we were able to work with someone who thinks life isn't worth living and help them enjoy life again! Also, it is very satisfying to help someone go from failing at school or work to excelling once they are treated for ADHD". Call us today to see how we can improve your life. Don't wait any longer to start to feel better!
